How Many Mollies Can Live in a 5 Gallon Tank?

You can fit 1 molly in a 5 gallon tank. However, I don’t recommend keeping just one molly. Mollies are social and are happiest in a group. Don’t get a 5 gallon tank, you need a minimum tank size of 10 gallons for your mollies. 

How Many Mollies Can Live in a 10 Gallon Tank?

You can have 3 mollies in a 10 gallon tank. Keep in mind, mollies breed easily. So be prepared to transfer your mollies to another aquarium when they start breeding.

How Many Mollies Can Live in a 20 Gallon Tank?

You can have 6 mollies in a 20 gallon aquarium. Keep in mind, mollies breed easily. I suggest starting off with less mollies so there is room for baby mollies in your 20 gallon tank.

How Many Mollies Can Live in a 30 Gallon Tank?

You can fit 9 mollies in a 30 gallon aquarium. 

How Many Mollies Can Live in a 55 Gallon Tank?

You can have 16 mollies in a 55 gallon aquarium.

You can have 5 mollies in a 60 litre tank.

What Size Tank Do You Need for 1 Molly?

One molly will need a minimum of 3.5 gallons per molly. Even though that is their minimum requirements, I suggest housing mollies in at least a 10 gallon fish tank.

What Size Tank Do You Need for 2 Mollies?

For two mollies, you need at least at least a 10 gallon tank. 

How Many Mollies Should Be Kept Together?

Mollies are social fish. They thrive when kept in a group. Ideally, you should keep a minimum of 3 mollies. If you are interested in breeding mollies, get 1 male and 2 females.

How Many Mollies and Guppies Can Live in a 10 Gallon Tank?

In a 10 gallon tank, you can keep 2 mollies and 2 guppies. Guppies and mollies are good tank mates and will live happily together. 

If you want your platies to breed, get 1 male platy and 1 female platy. For guppies to breed, get 1 male guppy and 1 female guppy. 

Don’t worry, guppies and mollies will not breed with each other. They may try but they will not be successful.

How Many Mollies and Guppies Can Live in a 20 Gallon Tank?

You can have 3 mollies and 6 guppies in a 20 gallon tank. Guppies and mollies are good tank mates and will live peacefully with each other in the same tank. 

If you want them to breed, get 1 male molly and 2 female mollies. For guppies to breed, get 2 male guppies and 4 female guppies. 

How Many Mollies and Swordtails Can Live in a 20 Gallon Tank?

In a 20 gallon tank, you can keep three mollies and two swordtails. Mollies and swordtails make excellent tank mates and can coexist peacefully in the same tank.

If you want your swordtails to breed, get 1 male swordtail and 1 female swordtail. For mollies to breed, get 1 male molly and 2 female mollies. 

Don’t worry, mollies and swordtails will not interbreed with each other. Your swordtails will only breed with other swordtails and your mollies will only breed with other mollies.
