Before you go out to buy a fish tank, I suggest you do some research on the minimum tank size. Most cichlids need to live in a group, so even if you can technically fit one cichlid in a 10 gallon tank, you don’t want to do that. Brichardi Cichlid Minimum Tank Size
Brichardi Cichlid or Fairy Cichlid (Neolamprologus brichardi) can grow to 4 inches long. They are peaceful shoaler so must be kept in groups. You should ideally house a group of Brichardi cichlids in a minimum tank size of 50 gallons. In a 50 gallon tank, you can keep 5 Brichardi cichlids.
Frontosa Cichlid Minimum Tank Size
Frontosa Cichlids minimum tank size is 70 gallons. You can house one Frontosa Cichlid in a 70 gallon tank. They can grow rather large to 12-15 inches! I do suggest a much larger tank than a 70 gallon tank because you want more than one Frontosa cichlid in your tank.
